I’m 6'1", 220, 34" inseam. Any chance I’d fit in one of these?

I’m 6'4" 230. I sat in one, but didn’t drive it. Didn’t feel any worse than my Miata did.

Chris Harris does and he’s huge. You can always get the lowered floors or the SV, but the SV ruins the looks IMO.

Take me for a drive when you get one, will you? ;)

If only someone made like a kit for Caterhams so you could build one to fit you perfectly.

Haha - fwiw, I fit in the ND Miata just fine. Length (legs) were more of a challenge than width.

While we’re dreaming, how ‘bout I let you drive?

Well, I actually do plan on getting one of these, so that’s not necessary.

I thought Harris was like 6'3"

Sadly, I wasn’t active on oppo when I spent 6 weeks in Tulsa. Also, if you saw a space grey E90 M3 with Texas plates driving around in June/July 2015, that might have been me.

Gotcha. Seeing as they’re home-made anyway, shifting the pedal box back might be easier than expected if you do wind up too tight. I doubt headroom would be an issue...

Can confirm. 6'2" + helmet and fitting fine in a race chassis w/ seat bolted directly to the floor. I’d ballpark 6'3" or 6'4" (depending on build, seat, helmet, etc.) to be about the upper limit for height, but leg room is more than plentiful.

Kinja'd!!! t0ast > davesaddiction @ opposite-lock.com
09/07/2017 at 12:47

Kinja'd!!!1

6'2" (leggy), 165 lbs, 32" inseam here and fit a ‘93 Birkin 7 replica with just enough room to be comfortable and operate the car safely, so you might fit, but I suspect it’d be a bit tight. FWIW, the seats in that particular car weren’t very aggressive or bucketed in positioning or structure. An SV (or whatever the various kits call their up-sized spec) which runs about 3-4" wider and longer might be worth checking out as well.
